Our Mission Is to Improve the Health of Iron County Residents
By working together with all members of the community, The Iron County Health Coalition is committed to improving the physical and mental health of local youth and community members through prevention and treatment of substance misuse and other harmful conditions.
Campaigns & Events
The Iron County Health Coalition is involved in the community in many ways. Our campaigns and programs range from education and raising awareness to working to improve the lives of our local youth.
AV School Resource Fair
In August of 2021 the Iron County Health Coalition participated in the Arcadia Valley school resource fair.
Drug Take Back Day
On April 29, 2022 the Iron County Health Coalition participated in Drug Take Back Day, collecting 317 bottles of medication.
Strengthening Families Program 10-14
The Iron County Health Coalition completed its first SFP for ages 10-14 in Iron County. Our first program was completed in Arcadia Valley. We will implement this program in Viburnum and Annapolis, as well.
Back to School Bash
The Iron County Health Coalition participated in the Ministerial Alliance Back to School Bash at Arcadia Valley.
Alcohol & Tobacco Vendor Training
The Iron County Health Coalition organized a vendor training for alcohol and tobacco vendors in Iron County. This training was put on by the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
Adult Mental Health Training
In partnership with Prevention Consultants of Missouri, The Iron County Health Coalition offered Adult Mental Health Training in Iron County.
